Cherries in Brandy

Ingredients
- 2 kg sweet glass cherries
- 1 kg sugar
- 0.62 l good French brandy
- cinnamon (a little)
- cloves (a little)
Instructions
- Carefully wipe 2 kilograms of sweet glass cherries, cut the stems in half, place in a canning jar, and sprinkle with a little cinnamon and cloves.
- Clarify 1 kilogram of sugar, stir in half to three-quarters of a liter of good French brandy, and pour over the cherries.
- When the jar is completely cold, seal it with a pig's bladder.
