  1. Wash the berries clean and strip them from the stems with a fork.
  2. Clarify the sugar, reduce it to a thin syrup, add the berries, and let them steep briefly, but do not boil.
  3. Place on a porcelain sieve, let them drain, add the drained juice to the boiling syrup, and reduce it until thick.
  4. Gently stir the berries with the syrup, fill hot into jars, and seal them once they have cooled.
