Heart Cherries in Sugar

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pit thick black heart cherries, place them in vinegar for a day and a night, and drain them on a colander.
  2. Then layer them with sugar, cinnamon, and cloves in a glass and place in the sun.
  3. Once the sugar has completely dissolved, pour the juice into a pot, let it boil, and briefly cook the cherries in it, then refill into the glass and pour the somewhat thickened, cold juice over them.
