Blackberries in Vinegar

Ingredients
- selected, large blackberries (as needed)
- good wine vinegar (generous amount)
- sugar (generous amount)
- whole cinnamon (a little)
- cloves (a little)
Instructions
- Pour good wine vinegar generously over selected large blackberries, ensuring they are well covered, and let stand overnight.
- The next day, sweeten the vinegar generously with sugar, boil with whole cinnamon and cloves, and pour hot over the berries.
- The following day, boil the liquid again, let the berries cook once, remove them, boil the liquid for another fifteen minutes, and pour over the fruit.
