Pears in Ginger

Ingredients
- 1 kg good, juicy, completely ripe table pears
- 0.75 kg sugar
- dried ginger, a few pieces (a little)
Instructions
- Peel good, juicy, completely ripe table pears smoothly, cut them lengthwise, remove the core, and rinse.
- Place the pears with the ginger cut into small pieces in clarified sugar and cook until soft, until they can be pierced and have become clear.
- Place in a glass with the juice, reduce the juice until thick after a few days, pour cold over the fruit, and seal the jars as instructed.
