White Turnips with Cream

Ingredients
- White Turnips (as needed)
- 0.5 l Water
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Salt (a little)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1 large cup Cream
- Sugar (a little)
- Pepper (a little)
Instructions
- Clean the turnips thoroughly, wash them, and blanch them with water.
- Then add ½ liter of boiling water, 1 tablespoon of butter, and a little salt, and slowly braise until tender.
- Drain the broth, stir in a light roux prepared with 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of flour, add 1 large cup of sweet cream, and cook into a creamy sauce with a little sugar, pepper, and salt, in which the turnips are briefly brought to a boil.
