Tongue as a Side Dish

Ingredients
- beef tongue, cooked until tender (pcs)
- salt (a little)
- nutmeg or crushed pepper (a little)
- 1 pcs egg, beaten
- rusk, crushed (a little)
- butter (a little)
Instructions
- After the tongue is cooked until very tender, peel it and split or slice it thinly.
- Sprinkle these with a little salt and, if desired, nutmeg or crushed pepper, dip them in beaten egg, roll them in crushed rusk, and fry them until golden brown in shimmering butter.
