Roasted Wild Duck

Ingredients
- 1 piece wild duck
- salt (a little)
- pepper (crushed) (a little)
- seasoning (a little)
- savory herb (a little)
- Borsdorf apples (as needed)
- bacon slices (a little)
- butter (a little)
Instructions
- Serves 2-3.
- Only young ducks are suitable for roasting.
- Skin the duck, rub it inside and out with salt, crushed pepper, and seasoning.
- Insert some savory herb and, if desired, a few Borsdorf apples, then sew it up and wrap it with bacon slices.
- Roast in butter in a moderately hot oven, basting frequently, until cooked through.
