Crucian Carp with Dill

Ingredients
- 1 kg crucian carp
- salted water (as needed)
- onions (a little)
- allspice berries (a little)
- bay leaf (a little)
- 1 cup sweet cream or good milk
- 1 tbsp dill, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- grated breadcrumbs (a little)
- salt (a little)
Instructions
- Scale, gut, wash, and finely score 1 kg crucian carp.
- Cook them in salted water with onions, allspice berries, and a bay leaf until done.
- Serve them with the following sauce: Bring 1 cup sweet cream or good milk to a boil with 1 tablespoon finely chopped young dill.
- Add 1 tablespoon butter, grated breadcrumbs, and salt, and cook the sauce until thick.
- Pour this over the fish, arranged dry in a bowl.
