- eel, prepared (as needed)
- salt (a little)
- rusks, crushed, or grated breadcrumbs (a little)
- butter (a little)
- sage leaves (a few)
Instructions
- Instead of pouring vinegar over the prepared eel, sprinkle it with salt and let it stand for a while.
- Afterwards, wash the pieces, turn them in crushed rusks or grated breadcrumbs, and fry in an open pan with butter, to which a few sage leaves have been added, until nicely golden and tender.
