Fried Eggs

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Fried eggs turn out best in pans with indentations; set eggs become particularly tender in a water bath in designated pans.
  2. Heat the butter in the pan, carefully crack in fresh eggs so that each remains whole, and sprinkle with a little fine salt.
  3. Bake until the egg white is thick, basting with melted butter or covering with a hot lid; they are not flipped.
  4. Slide onto a dish, trim the edge smoothly, and garnish with spinach or similar vegetables.
  5. Fried eggs can also be served as a standalone dish for breakfast or dinner.
