Spatzen or Spätzle

Ingredients
- 250 g Flour
- 2 pcs Eggs
- Salt (a little)
- Water (as needed)
- Butter (brown, for pouring) (a little)
Instructions
- Mix the flour with the eggs, salt, and water to form a loose but not too thin dough.
- Roll it out to the thickness of the back of a knife and quickly cut small pieces in portions, letting them slide into boiling salted water.
- Cook covered until they rise, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on a hot, covered dish.
- Continue until all the dough is used.
- When serving, pour brown butter over the Spätzle.
