Polenta with Fruit

Ingredients
- Polenta (according to instructions, cooled) (as needed)
- Cherries or plums (pitted) (as needed)
- Sugar (crushed) (as needed)
- Lemon zest (a little)
- Cinnamon (strip) (a little)
- Cloves (some pcs)
- White wine (a little)
- Almonds (finely chopped, for sprinkling) (a little)
Instructions
- Prepare the polenta according to instructions and let it cool.
- Place pitted cherries or plums in a casserole, simmer for 5 minutes with the necessary amount of crushed sugar, lemon zest, a strip of cinnamon, and a few cloves.
- Pour in some good white wine and add the polenta cut into cubes.
- Let everything cook until the fruit is soft, pour into a bowl, sprinkle with finely chopped almonds, and serve quite hot.
