Bread Roll Soup

Ingredients
- 2 pcs stale bread rolls (or 4 small white rolls)
- water (cold, for softening) (a little)
- 1 stick cinnamon
- lemon zest (a little)
- water (boiling, to top up) (as much as needed for 1.5 l soup)
- salt and sugar (to taste)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 pcs egg yolk
- 2 tbsp sweet cream
Instructions
- Cut the bread rolls into pieces, boil them with a little cold water, cinnamon, and lemon zest until soft.
- Mash the bread rolls, strain through a sieve, and add enough boiling water to make 1.5 liters of soup.
- Bring to a boil again, season with salt and a little sugar, add the butter, let it cook through, and then finish with the egg yolk and sweet cream.
