Rice Soup with Milk

Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- water (a little)
- 1 l milk
- cinnamon or mace (a little)
- butter (a little)
- sugar and salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp potato flour (optional for binding)
Instructions
- Wash the rice, bring to a boil with cold water, and drain the water as soon as it heats up.
- Cook half of the milk with a little water, cinnamon or mace, and a little butter.
- Add the rice and let it cook slowly until soft, which takes about an hour.
- Then add the remaining pre-boiled milk, season the soup with sugar and salt, and let it cook for a bit longer.
- For a thicker soup, you can bind it with a little potato flour.
