Buckwheat Groat Soup with Milk

  1. Rinse the buckwheat groats several times with hot, then with cold water, until the water runs clear.
  2. Bring to a boil with cold water, add a little butter, and cook slowly until soft, but not too stiff.
  3. Pour in a little milk and stir the groats well.
  4. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, pour in the groats, and after a short further cooking, season with salt.
