Bread Soup with Milk
4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 slices rye bread or black bread, stale, thick slice per person
- 0.5 l water
- lemon zest (a little)
- 1 piece cinnamon
- salt (a little)
- 1 l milk
- sugar (to taste)
- 1.5 pcs egg yolk
Instructions
- Place the cut, stale bread with the water to soak.
- Add lemon zest, cinnamon, and salt, boil the bread until soft, and stir through a sieve.
- Bring the milk to a boil, add the strained bread, season with sugar, bring to a boil again, and then stir in the egg yolk.
