Celery Salad
4 servings
Ingredients
- 1.5 pieces tender, white celery root bulbs
- water, lightly salted (as needed)
- vinegar (a little)
- oil (a little)
- salt (a little)
- pepper (a little)
- lamb's lettuce leaves (as needed)
Instructions
- Peel one to two very tender, white celery root bulbs and boil them until tender in lightly salted water, then slice them thinly, either with a plain knife or a crinkle cutter.
- While still warm, mix the celery with vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange after cooling and garnish with clean-washed lamb's lettuce leaves.
- It can also be mixed with an egg sauce, like lettuce salad; in this case, the lamb's lettuce can be omitted.
