Sponge Dumplings or Floating Dumplings

Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 pcs Egg yolks
- 1 pinch Mace
- Salt (a little)
- Zwieback (a little)
- 1 pcs Egg
Instructions
- Stir 1 cup of milk, an equal amount of flour, and ½ tablespoon of butter over heat until the mixture separates from the pot.
- After cooling slightly, stir in 2 egg yolks, a pinch of mace, salt, another ½ tablespoon of butter, crushed zwieback, and finally the egg white of one egg, beaten to a foam.
- Cut out the dumplings with a wet spoon and cook for 10 minutes.
