Yeast Dumplings or Barm Dumplings

Ingredients
- 1 kg flour
- 200 g butter
- 0.5 liter milk
- 3 pcs eggs
- 50 g yeast
- salt (a little)
Instructions
- Prepare a dumpling dough from 1 kg of flour, 200 g of butter, 1/2 liter of lukewarm milk, 3-4 eggs, 50 g of yeast, and a little salt.
- Beat the dough vigorously with a spoon and let it rise for 1 hour near a warm oven.
- Form round dumplings and cook them covered in salted water for 15 minutes.
- As soon as you remove the dumplings, make a crosswise incision on top of each with a pointed knife to prevent them from collapsing.
- Serve quickly with brown butter or fruit.
