Cold Almond Dessert
4 servings
Ingredients
- 100 g butter
- 100 g sugar (finely crushed)
- vanilla (a little)
- 2 pcs eggs
- 100 g almonds (finely crushed, some bitter)
- ladyfingers (as needed)
Instructions
- Cream the well-rinsed butter until smooth.
- Gradually beat in the finely crushed sugar mixed with vanilla, then add the whole eggs and finely crushed almonds—including some bitter ones—and mix everything thoroughly.
- Line the bottom and sides of a smooth mold with ladyfingers, ensuring the glazed side faces the mold (which will be the outside later).
- Pour in the mixture, cover with ladyfingers, place a plate with a slightly smaller diameter than the mold on top, and weigh it down.
- It's best to prepare this dessert a day in advance to allow the ladyfingers to soak through.
- Before serving, chill on ice, invert, and serve with vanilla sauce.
