Tea Preparation
4 servings
Ingredients
- 3 tsp Black tea
- Water, boiling (a little)
Instructions
- Rinse the teapot, preferably an English nickel one, with hot water and discard the water.
- Add the tea – about 3 teaspoons are sufficient for 4 people.
- First, pour 1 cup of boiling water over it, let the tea steep covered in a warm place, and then completely fill the pot with boiling water.
- Let the tea steep for 5 minutes and pour through a sieve into the waiting cups.
- If you want to prepare more tea than will be served in the first round, it is better to put the necessary amount of tea into a wire mesh tea ball and hang it in the pot.
- To ensure the tea steeps sufficiently, swirl the ball back and forth occasionally and remove it after 7-10 minutes.
