Whole Grain Bread Dish

Ingredients
- 100 g whole grain rye bread (grated)
- 0.5 wineglass rum
- 4 pcs egg yolks
- 100 g powdered sugar
- bitter orange peel (a little)
- 4 pcs egg whites (whipped)
- red wine (for drizzling) (as needed)
- sugar, cloves, cinnamon, bitter orange peel (for the wine sauce) (a little)
Instructions
- Moisten the grated whole grain rye bread with rum and add it to the egg yolks, which have been beaten until frothy with powdered sugar and a little bitter orange peel.
- After everything is well mixed, fold in the whipped egg whites and bake the dish in a water bath in the oven for a good hour.
- Unmold and drizzle with red wine, which has been previously boiled with sugar, cloves, cinnamon, and bitter orange peel.
