Ingredients
- 1 kg mixed fruit (apricots, pears, apples, plums, cherries, etc.)
- 1 soup plate bread cubes
- butter (a little)
- sugar (to taste)
- cinnamon (crushed) (a little)
- lemon zest (grated) (a little)
- wine (a little)
- bread slices (for lining the mould) (as needed)
Instructions
- Prepare the fruit by peeling, pitting or coring, and cutting into pieces.
- Lightly toast the bread cubes in butter until light yellow, mix with the fruit, add sugar, crushed cinnamon, grated lemon zest, and a little wine, and use this to fill the mould previously lined with bread slices.
- Bake until cooked through at moderate heat for about one and a half hours.
