Semolina Dish

Ingredients
- 75 g semolina
- 0.5 l milk
- salt (a little)
- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- lemon zest (grated) (a little)
- almonds (finely grated) (some pcs)
- 5 pcs egg yolks
- 5 pcs egg whites (beaten)
- fruit sauce (for serving) (as needed)
Instructions
- Let the semolina swell in the milk with a little salt over a gentle heat and set aside to cool, ensuring the porridge is not completely cold before stirring.
- Cream the butter, add sugar, grated lemon zest, and some finely grated almonds, and while continuously stirring, gradually add the semolina porridge and egg yolks.
- Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites and bake the dish in the greased mold for one hour.
- Serve unstirred with fruit sauce.
