Onion Tart

Ingredients
- Yeast dough (see bread rolls, buns, or white bread) (as needed)
- 3 l Onions (peeled, sliced)
- Lard (as needed)
- Egg (for brushing) (a little)
- 0.25 l Cream or good milk
- 3 pcs Eggs
- 0.75 tbsp Flour
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare yeast dough as for rolls, beat thoroughly, and let rise.
- Meanwhile, sauté the peeled, sliced onions in lard until soft but white, then drain on a sieve.
- Roll out the dough thinly, place it on a greased baking sheet, form a rim about 5 centimeters high all around, and let rise.
- Brush the rim with egg, evenly cover the tart within the rim with the onions, and bake in a hot oven until almost done.
- Pour over a mixture of cream or good milk, eggs, flour, and salt, and continue baking until the tart is fully cooked.
