Harmlessly Coloring Icing

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Color the icing according to the basic recipe in the following way: For brown, omit the lemon juice and stir some grated chocolate into the mixture.
  2. Pink or deep red can be achieved by adding a smaller or larger amount of beetroot juice.
  3. Blue is colored with violet juice, yellow with lemon sugar or a little saffron, to which a few drops of brandy are added.
  4. For green, place the egg white designated for the sugar with the raw coffee in a small pot and let it sit overnight, which will make it green the next day; alternatively, use the juice from crushed spinach leaves.
