Rolls, Buns, or White Bread
4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 l water
- 2 kg wheat flour
- 50 g compressed yeast
- milk (lukewarm) (a little)
- salt (a little)
Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk, add a little salt, and mix with flour.
- Let the leavened starter ferment in a warm place.
- Once it has risen sufficiently, process it with the remaining milk and the necessary flour to form a light dough and let it rise again.
- Work the dough, shape as desired into elongated rolls or buns, round loaves, or small bread rolls, let rise again, make an incision on top, brush with warm water, and bake.
